What powers or changes would you like to see in SHA? Or just suggest anything, we may include it for the next version.

Here are just a couple of thoughts/ideas on some of the Classes that are already made so far :)


The Assassin:

Possibly my favourite class. Although I'm still a bit unsure how the Sniper Shot works, and how well it combines with his Sniper Rifle.
Furthermore, his sword really needs a cool katana-like shape imho :)

The thing about the classes is that I never thought them out too well, I wanted the player to have something more than just the 4 powers, so I included classes. Working on this mod was SO hard, that including classes was madness, my original idea for classes was to have a lot of the comic book heroes predefined including their player model. At this early stage, obviously, that isn't so, maybe for the excpetion of the Human Torch

I'm sure the classes will go through many changes, so I value peoples opinions, about the directions they may take and also any new additions.

Here are my thoughts/reponses on the various classes :-

Assassin: Maybe in the future he may be a full ninja with the model, and if anyones willing to give me a cool Katana sword model then I'll replace the broadsword with that. The sniper shot special power is seperate from the Sniper Rifle, it concentrates the shots from machineguns and shotguns <A HREF="http://www.batmite.com/sniper.htm" TARGET=_blank>read this</A>. The Assassin's weapon shots aren't silenced, but if you want the sniper rifle to be silenced, I can do that.

The Atom: I want to leave him as he is, as the super-hero called <B>The Atom</B> from DC Comics, cant do anything but shrink up and down. Besides he has the Special Weapon power called <B>Shrinkage</B> which shrinks people around you from a certain radius. Besides being hard to hit, the atom may prove useful in Capture the Flag games, where he can sneak up to the enemy base.

Robot: I'm not sure I like him the way he is currently, so he may change a lot. I may replace the ed-209 model with something else. I didnt want the robot to be able to use any of the quake weapons, but have his own. The double machineguns are quite powerful, so I'll leave that alone, the rockets home in, so thats ok, his death shield is deadly on contact and he has a 200 health limit (not health freak). I wanted him to have a few limits so I removed strafing, made him noisy and made him slower. True if he's frozen he's done for, I could either make him immune to freezing or change the way freeze ray works. I may remove all his limits, and add new things, I havent done enough testing to see how well he does in a 1 to 1 against a normal hero.

Jubilee: she can be deadly but needs someone to make a player model of the X-men heroine.

Punisher: maybe he needs a special weapon, maybe some kind of bullet based weapon.

Well, if the Robot form is going to be replaced by anything... it'd be awesome if it were Big Guy!

Well, at least they aren't as broken as the classes in SH2.. the assassin and Robot were a pain in the ass there ! :)
