Robot Form Change

What powers or changes would you like to see in SHA? Or just suggest anything, we may include it for the next version.

Robot Form Change

Since the whole mod is (obviously) Super Hero related, could the Robot model be changed to Big Guy? I think this would be a much more suitable robot to play as.

If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, Big Guy had a mini-series back in 1995 (Frank Miller and Geof Darrow), and then even had a TV show in 1999. Also, he had his own Quake 3 model (http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/do ... ?model=773>

For those of you who do know what I'm talking about, I'm sure you see the promise and possibilities that would come with using Big Guy in the SuperHeroes arena.

However, please don't tell me to just use the Big Guy model that is already available. While it is a very high-quality model (Scored a 9/10 from Polycount), it needs to be adapted (or completely re-made from scratch).

The model of Big Guy that could be used in SHA should include his "Eagle Arms" (an assortment of weapons, which include two machine guns on each arm, and a four-cylindered rocket launcher between them) ejected from his lower arms). There is a pic of this at the bottom. Or rather, I hope there will. If this image redirect works, it should be at the bottom. However, redirected images from Yahoo! groups never stay for more than a few days. If it does not appear, that's probably why.

Well, the image redirect was worth a shot. For those of you interested in the link, just copy and paste this: http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/downloads/index.asp?model=773

You know what? I'm probably the biggest idiot in the world. Please ignore my last comment, since the link I posted was incorrect.

If you want to see the pic of Big Guy that should be used in SHA, please follow this link: http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/groups/g_7711214/Show+Pics/armswideopen.jpg?bcnMqe9AP77Ruybc

For those of you who want to see the Big Guy model made for Quake 3, please follow this link: http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/reviews/quake3/bigguy/bigguy.shtml

Thanks for your suggestion.

Intially I was going to use Big Guy for the generic Robot class because he is a Super-Hero and also I saw him on polycount, but at the time I was working alone on SHA and I'm not very good at modelling so I used the model that was simple and easily modifiable, like the Ed-209 and also it was very small in size, I wanted the intial SHA package to be small.

I may consider it, if there is the next version of SHA.

Wow, really? That'd be awesome. If you could put Big Guy (with the eagle arms out, like in the picture) in SHA, it would greatly enhance the mod (as if it could be enhanced any cooler).
