Gargoyle class!

Wouldn't it be great, if you were able to fly by wings, and cling yourself (not walk on) onto walls, *spitting* fireballs, small tornados (like a port-a-platform)?

You could use my (beta, to be finished soon sometime) gargoyle model for this. ;)

Can you create a Batmite model for me while you're at it?

LOL :-)

Got any concept art or something for me to model out with?

I'm not touching Disney's ever.

What exactly does Disney have to do with it? I thought that Batmite was a DC character.

Disney's Gargoyles = plague of the earth.

All else = gewd.

Just letting Batmite know that when he ever uses Google or any image search engine to find something for me that I don't prefer Disney.<p>[ May 30, 2003: Message edited by: CheapAlert ]

Kitsch is beautiful, but hey - no legs, no play :/

Geez, I saw no "legs requirement" in the initial post.

I think adding legs to one of the gargoyles of Notre Dame De Paris would give an acceptable result.
I'd much rather see a Batmite than a Gargoyle:

It doesn't take much to imagine legs on those guys, if you were thinking of using them as a basis for modelling. Gargoyle comes from old french word for Throat and they were put on buildings as waterspouts, so they probably werent menat to have legs but the designs must have gotten better, so you see all these weird demon things today.
A person can now design a gargoyle that is independent from rooves and based on some demonic design.

I'm sure CheapAlert has a wealth of pictures and info on gargoyles anyway.

Isn't he a cutey?

You're so welcome. I've been looking for a long time and this is the best I've found. Someone did some hand sketches but got the costume all wrong. I also found pictures of the Dynamic Mite from some animated series and it was just too Manga for my tastes. I wish I had one of the statues! Bet they're valuable investments.

Actually I have bad luck with google image search and the only wealth of pictures I ever have are concept art from other games, which I don't want to do :/

I plan on doing a gargoyle for HL Wizard Wars too, but I have no concept from their leader yet :/

[EDIT]Hey, so kitsch does have feet after all... but they're too short and inefficient for gaming.

Very cute :)

Would it still be a 'gargoyle' if you made it closer to a demon, with longer legs?

Do you want me to find any gargoyle images for you, ones that look like demons with reasonable legs and wingspans.
