Hehe, nah this was an odd glitch that occured due to the human factor... ME! I had W2K and I like to format and install DOS no matter what O/S I use. Well, I couldn't install DOS on an NTFS HD partition but I learned that DOS could wipe it out in order to install a FAT partition. When I did that, it decided to wipe out -BOTH- HD's instead of just the main one. My mistake. Years and years and !years! of data were instantly gone. Needless to say, from now one, I will disconnect all other HD's first before messing around like that!
